About Boys Town Washington DC
An affiliate of the original Father Flanagan’s Boys’ Town founded in 1917 in Omaha, Neb., Boys Town Washington DC has been serving children and families in the nation’s capital since the site opened its doors in 1993.
Direct care services for children include four Family Homes in the District that provide residential care for children removed from their home. Boys Town Washington DC also provides a Behavioral Health Clinic, which offers outpatient services for families with children who are experiencing social/emotional, academic, or behavior concerns.
Boys Town has a long history of serving as an excellent steward of its donor support. Charity Navigator, one of the nation’s largest and most-respected charity rating systems, has awarded Boys Town its highest rating for the sound management of its finances.
